At this time, I do not accept insurance as payment. However, I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement for services.
You can read more about that process here.

A sliding scale fee is a possibility depending on my caseload availability. My sliding scale fees start at $125. My policy around sliding scale is that I can offer this discounted rate as a time-limited service. Meaning, we will check in every 3 months to account for other folks who may be on my waiting list for sliding scale services.
If these rates are outside your financial ability, please feel free to contact me to receive referrals to low cost services.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify me more than 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a charge of the full fee of our scheduled session.

The therapeutic experience can offer a unique opportunity to slow down with intention, and turn toward the aspects of your life that are causing you strife, confusion, or pain.
Most of us have experienced fear of the unknown, and it can be helpful to have someone to get in the trenches with you as you face those fears. While there are no guarantees in this process, I commit to assisting my clients in building the courage to face their struggles, together.
This process may last a few months, or even years. Early on in therapy, we will start to put together a map of where to begin, and I will assist as we put some structure to your goals. Likely, I will offer some psychoeducation, paired with development and practice of tangible coping skills, as well as making space for those big questions that may not have simple answers.
I do my best to tailor the therapy experience to meet you where you are at, and check in with you along the way as to respect your autonomy and needs as a client.
Therapy is a unique space where you may find yourself having the full spectrum of emotions. This space is a sacred one, built on trust and acceptance. As such, I operate from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming stance. Though the counseling experience exists within a larger system of oppression, I hope to create a safe space of exploration, collaboration, and respect in our work together.

Figuring out the frequency needed for effective therapy is unique for each individual. My clinical recommendation is that all new clients begin at a weekly frequency so we can get the lay of the land together. Typically, that can take about 3-4 months.
We may find that in times of crisis or great need for support, you may wish to meet more frequently than once a week, or for longer sessions than 50-minutes. This will be a decision we make together to best meet your needs.

The word Loggia refers to an architectural gallery or room with one side open to the fresh air. In the same way, this practice offers a protected space that remains connected to your real-world goals. It is both internal and external. Tangible, and ephemeral.
(My love of art history and ancient cultures is often a source of inspiration.)
